Speed Interviews 2

MECHA Speed Interviews was back for the 2nd time this semster, an energizing evening that brought together students and industry professionals for a rapid-fire, “speed-dating” style interview experience. The event buzzed with energy from start to finish as students moved from table to table, gaining real-time insight, feedback, and meaningful connections with engineers, recruiters, and technical professionals from a variety of companies.

The key skill students were able to practice through this event was their professional CV and interview skills. Interviews can be stressful, especially when you’re still early in your academic journey. Speed Interviews 2 gave students a chance to practice answering technical and behavioral questions in a low-pressure environment, while still receiving honest, constructive feedback from working professionals.

By the end of the evening, students walked away with:

• Personalized advice on how to communicate their skills and expertise clearly and effectively
